Our Founder

The name of the company comes from Ursuline's motto, "Serviam", Latin for "I will serve". This is the motto of all Ursuline schools worldwide, the patron saint of which is St. Ursula. As "Ursa" - a derivative of Ursula - translates to the feminine version of "little bear" in Latin, Ursuline Dallas chose a bear as the school mascot. This is the origin of the Little Dipper, a part of the Ursa Minor constellation, in the school crest. Borrowing from this, Ursa Major (the Big Dipper constellation) appears in our company logo.
